First Month as TA in Holberton

Teaching assistants play a vital role in schools all over the world. And I had the ability to be part of it and so i will talk about my first month in this job.

I am halfway through my first year as software engineer student . and i have been chosen to be Teacher Assistance for the new cohort . I have found working closely with challenging pupils mostly positive and gratifying. Every step they take in their education.

However, being a TA certainly comes with its challenges. Dealing with students’ more extreme behavior can be testing. You have to hold your patience and keep your nerve. But with most people you soon start to build positive relationships that allow for a mutual respect.

During my first month i come across a lot of stress explaining to nearly 35 person who mostly have no idea when it come to Programing and everything that come with it. also i found it challenging to keep up with some them . i did advise student outside school , and i was able to carries out a student-driven curriculum about C Programing and Basic Linux and Git …etc .I struggled Explaining some C concept , but i did overcome the struggle and been able to explain it to most student .

i was been able to play essential roles in the team, contributing their skills in helping pupils learn, grow and develop into productive members of society.

this experience played a role developing my communication skills and control my nerves and been able to be patience and when it come to technical experience it help me deep understand a lot of concept and develop a new understanding over The C .
